EclipseLink allows users the option of using pessimistic locking on their queries. This is done through the use of a query hint.

See:

  • org.eclipse.persistence.config.QueryHints
  • org.eclipse.persistence.config.PessimisticLock
  • Configuring a Locking Policy in the EclipseLink User's Guide
