The EclipseLink committers have a regular meeting (currently weekly) to discuss ongoing development issues and projects. All interested parties are welcome to attend. If you have any additional items you wished discussed please add them at the bottom of the agenda including a brief description and any relevant links. Alternatively development issues can be discussed on the EclipseLink Dev mailing list.

• Milestone Releases

  • Aligned Old repo metadata and processes to new OSS standards
  • Working on setting OSS scripts for initial push
    • finalizing changes, incorporating GPG
      • gpg processing will be for Milestones/Release only (will incorporate into promote process)
    • using manually initiated process initially.
      • refocusing efforts on publishing to Sonatype OSS
        • script changes complete, but had be waiting to determine gpg scope
        • am now focused on getting un-signed snapshots out to both repos
• JPA 21 testing - no progress
  • JPA Test needs to be refactored
    • Server testing should be split away
    • rework roughly 70% complete
  • JPA21 functional. Ongoing refactoring proceeding.
• Issues targeted for investigation post JPA21 test working.
  • Select Bundle not working with OpenJDK
  • JPA-RS testing not running at Eclipse

QA

Feb 7-14 , 2013:

• EclipseLink Nightly Results (Updated on 2013-02-14)
  • master - 14 new failures with DBWS utils testing - investigating; several new failures with jpa on openjdk - seems to be intermittent, need to verify by QA; one new failure with jpa on Derby-10 - investigating; 3 new failures with DBWS on JBoss servers - investigating. (the last build is 2013-02-14)
  • 2.4.2 - All JAXRS and JPA tests failed on Glassfish-4 - investigating; 2 new failures with jpa on postgrsql-9 - seems to be intermittent, need to verify. (the last build is 2013-02-13)
  • 2.3.4 - no new build (the last build is 2012-11-25)
• Testing
  • JPA configs testing - completed
  • Verifying that jpa2.1 issue for advanced model is resolved with latest GlassFish 4 nightly build -- found an issue in ConverterTestSuite - bug will be filed
  • DBWS server test failures - partially resolved -- LegacySimpleTableServiceTestSuite failed on non-WLS application servers - Filed bug 399148
