As part of the EMF 2.4 Plan, the EMF zips provided at http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/downloads/?project=emf will be changing for the 2.4M5 milestone, planned for February 11, 2008.
The SDK zips include source, doc and runtime. To both save bandwidth and make it easier to add source & docs to an existing installed runtime, we'd like provide the complement and do away with the overlap. We also intend to split EMF and SDO into separate zips.
