Monday Community Day
Monday, October 21
9:00 - 18:30
On the first day of the conference, the venue is open for whatever you want to do, from organized workshops to informal hacking sessions in the Power-Up Lounge. The Meet & Greet casual reception ends the day, with a focus on greeting new attendees and helping them meet other community members.
Some gatherings will be in session rooms with A/V available and set start and stop times; others will take place around a table in an open space.
To see what we did at Community Day last year, visit the 2018 page.

Model-based Systems Engineering with Eclipse (MBSE@Eclipse)
The MBSE@Eclipse provides a forum for users and developers of Eclipse modeling technologies for systems engineering tools in industry.
This session should be scheduled after the Automotive@Eclipse session (see above), as there will likely be an overlap of interested participants.
Details are available at https://wiki.eclipse.org/ECE2019_MBSE_at_Eclipse
Open Source Compliance and Governance session
Open source compliance and governance is key to enable companies to leverage the open source ecosystem and to participate.
The Eclipse Foundation hosts several projects (Eclipse SW360, Eclipse SW360 Antenna and the upcoming Eclipse Vulnerability Assessment Tool) that are very useful to Open Source offices.
This session is for everybody interested in the topic, to share the current status of these projects and to brainstorm on the future of this topic at the Eclipse ecosystem.
The session should be scheduled in the afternoon.

Tuesday Community Evening
Tuesday, October 22
The Community evening is your opportunity to create more casual, interactive events. You can reserve space for 1 to 3 hours for a meetup, hackathon, coding session, a traditional BoF (an open session around the topic of your choice), or something new!
There will be a beverages available with a bar set up on both levels of the venue, with beer, wine, water, and juice.
Add Your Community Evening Ideas!
Please add your ideas here for an event that you would like to see. Create a link to a detail page where you can expand the details, sign up as organizer, or suggest people who should definitely attend!
Create synergies amongst different communities at Eclipse. Bring a poster or simply a sign and mingle with experts from fields outside your specialization.
Edge Computing mini-hackathon
Edgeworx will sponsor a 3-hour mini-hackathon during the Tuesday Community Evening. At this event, which is oriented toward developers, participants will be challenged to integrate at least one other Eclipse IoT project with Eclipse ioFog and showcase what they were able to accomplish. There will be prizes for the winning teams and giveaways for all participants, as well. Representatives from all Eclipse projects are welcome to attend and help guide, coach, and influence participants to make use of their projects! The event will aim to include representation from as many Eclipse IoT projects as possible and will attempt to illustrate the power of merging them together to solve more pieces of the puzzle more quickly.
For this event, we will need enough space for the participants and staff, tables and chairs, WiFi and wired connectivity, electricity with a large number of power strips, and some organizational support. As a sponsor, Edgeworx will work with the Eclipse Foundation to determine the best arrangement of costs and will commit to contributing significantly to the event.
