• Project goals/themes for Europa
  1. Elevate provisional API to platform status
     • Improve unit test coverage
     • Improve documentation
       • Ensure all API are documented
       • Add general documentation (e.g. best practices, examples, etc.)
     • Revise any API that are awkward or inadequate (based on extender feedback)
       • Database recognition extension
       • DSE content extension mechanism for SQL model elements
  2. Support adopter migration from WTP RDB to DTP
     • Ensure feature compatibility
     • Provide technical assistance
  3. Integrate CP framework into ODA runtime
  4. Improve "generic" feature set
     • Expand generic DDL generation support to include SPs, UDFs, etc.
  5. Document contributor process
     • Define defect prioritization
       1. Defects with patches attached
       2. Defects related to release goals
       3. Other defects as time allows
     • Define best practices for defect logging
• Project schedule
  • Project plan must be submitted to PMC by Feb. 16.
  • DTP becomes part of Europa "train" as of M5 (Feb. 16)

• Platform versions
  • Should develop against Eclipse 3.2 "stack" using JDK 1.4
  • Will test against Europa stack
