  • Planning and Communications
    • Project plan - Reference Platforms: getting rid of Solaris-Motif, upgrading JVM versions (Sun 1.4.2_14, 1.5.0_11. 1.6.0_01; IBM; no BEA JRockit)
    • Good progress on plan items, but some API stuff not complete by M6
    • TM and RSE FAQ updated - how to contribute, how to write programs - reference the EclipseCon tutorial
    • TM Webinar on 12-Apr-2007
  • Collaborations with other projects (Platform/Team, PTP, CDT, TPTP, WTP, ECF, Aperi, g-Eclipse)
    • jsch to be upgraded and moved to Orbit; SSH Preferences as Platform API now
    • EFS going forward - currently under TM 2.0 M6 Testing, going to become part of standard Runtime
    • Symbolic Links added to Platform EFS
    • RXTX.org to host Eclipse bundles for serial line access (discussions ongoing)
  • Future after 2.0
    • Agents: Wind River Target Communications Framework (TCF) - pending company approval for contributing to Open Source
      • Javier: Characteristics of TCF? Specifications?
        • A PPT presentation on TCF is now available (PPT, 500K)
        • Likeliness of TCF going open source is 60-80%. A decision of whether Wind River is open sourcing it or not shall be made by May.
    • TM 2008 (Ganymede train): Going for TM 3.0 or TM 2.1?
