*{{bug|271845}} ganymede and europa language packs missing from website
+
*Nightly builds
**Update Site for Galileo seems to be okay
+
**great progress for the nightly build setup, thanks Denis!
**{{task-inprogress}} Denis is working on solving this
+
**Denis is working on the promote script
*Release schedule
+
*p2 metadata generation problem
**The current Language Pack build process runs for almost a day, we need to cut down on the process
+
**Any progress from Gabe?
**In my opinion, it is useless to rebuild language packs for Ganymede and Europa every night, as the changeset must be very small
+
**I saw this from the [cross-project-issues-dev] mailing list, does it help?
**Also, to avoid the current situation where our Language Packs and update site are broken/not available, here is a proposal:
+
***Swordfish is in — finally!
***Our Nightly build consists of the Current Train only. In this case, our nightly build would be Galileo only. Our nightly build stays on build.eclipse.org
+
***The trick to sove the MD5 issue was to remove the existing artifacts.jar and content.jar before re-generating the p2 metadata as Nick pointed out (Thanks, Nick!)
***Our Weekly build consists of All Trains. This weekly build would stay on build.eclipse.org, instead of going to download.eclipse.org
+
***We promote a known good Weekly build to our official download site (download.eclipse.org) on a regular basis (Perhaps monthly, or as needed after a large syncup).
+
**I'd also like to propose to kick off the Weekly build on Friday night or Saturday night, so we can inspect the output on the weekend and discuss any issues on Monday
+
**Update from Kit:
+
***I've test the the update site built on April 24, 2009
+
***language packs working well
+
***Found "Usage Date Collector" preferences not externalized, anyone knows who owns that?
+
***I propose to declare this as 1.0M2 and then continue to refine our language packs towards GA
