WP2: Huge Models Support
This is work package 2 of the Automotive Industry Working Group.

Already today automotive engineering models (e.g., AUTOSAR) have become so big that they are hardly manageable with file-based persistence and the 1.5 GB of memory on 32-bit machines. The results of this work package are meant to lay the basis for significantly improving the performance characteristics of Eclipse-based tools when handling real world automotive engineering models of today and making them proof for the future where model sizes are expected to grow up even more.
