Eclipse Automotive - bringing Automotive together
Welcome to the Eclipse Automotive Interest Group!
Our mission is to collaborate in an informal way on automotive topics - bringing all together!
The Eclipse Automotive Working Groups
OpenADx
The OpenADx Working Group is centered around the autonomous driving toolchain and aims to bring transparency and better integration capabilities into the autonomous driving tool space.
openMDM
The openMDM Working Group fosters and supports an open and innovative eco-system providing tools and systems, qualification kits and adapters for standardized and vendor independent management of measurement data in accordance with the ASAM ODS standard.
openMobility
The openMobility Working Group drives the evolution and broad adoption of mobility modelling and simulation technologies.
openPASS
The openPASS Working Group promotes a collaborative and innovative ecosystem by offering tools, systems, and adapters for a standardized, openly-available and vendor-neutral platform for traffic scenario simulation.
Software Defined Vehicle (SDV)
The Eclipse Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) Working Group will provide a forum for individuals and organizations to build and promote open source software, specifications, and open collaboration models needed to create a scalable, modular, extensible, industry-ready open source licensed vehicle software platform to support in-vehicle an around the vehicle applications development and deployment.
Eclipse Automotive Website (under construction)
The Eclipse Automotive Website is a first starting point for all activities in the automotive area and gives you a brief overview.
Eclipse Automotive Top Level Project
The Eclipse Automotive Top-Level Project provides a space for open source projects to explore ideas and technologies addressing challenges in the automotive, mobility and transportation domain. It is the common goal of this project to provide tools and composable building blocks to empower the development of solutions for the mobility of the future.
Eclipse Automotive Project Management Committee (PMC)
The Eclipse Project is managed by a small group known as the Eclipse Project Management Committee (PMC). The work of the project is organized into subprojects. Each subproject has a leader who has overall responsibility for its success. Large subprojects are further divided into component teams, each of who has a leader that is responsible for its overall success. We have listed just the PMC and subproject leaders here but you will encounter many dedicated Eclipse Project committers and developers in the mailing lists.
Eclipse Automotive PMC Meeting Minutes
Meeting Minutes - Eclipse Automotive - bringing Automotive together
Meeting 8th March 2022
Presentation
Notes
- Transparency – How to learn to know each other and about the other working groups and projects
- Container Workflows for SDV and other SW Stacks
- Oniro is a Working Group and a Top Level Project
- Do we have a common mailing list for automotive or do we have to use each WG mailing list?
- Or is the best way to use „Cross Domain Project Issues“ (Platform mailing list) for that?
- What about a Community Day for other WGs, because during EclipseCon we are in our own environment …
