- We performed the test on 3 different platforms (Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.1) in the top 7 most complete languages (Simplified Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Spanish)
- We did not find any problems with the Babel RC2 language pack update site
- In general, I think the Babel language packs are working as designed
- I20090620-0400 finished
- I ran the p2 publisher and the XSL transform against the build manually
- New artifacts.jar and content.jar uploaded
- Release plan
- After hearing a few conversations on the mailing list, I think we agree that the language packs are in good shape to be released
- However, we need more packaging and polishing works for the translation server, message editor, and other tools
- How about releasing the language packs as 0.7, and try to enhance the translation server packaging in fall maintenance release?
