This is a rough mockup of the Nodes Report for COSMOS march 2007 demo.
Here are the notes for the numbered "pool balls":
- Title area. Includes navigational links to the Topology Report for the topology of which this Node is a part (This means that a Node has one and only one Topology. Is this correct?), and to the Parent Node of this Node (This means that a Node has one and only one Parent. Is this correct?).
- Nodes. If a Node has children (which are Nodes), then there is a hyperlink that will launch the Nodes Report for the Child Node.
- Each Node has a Name property. It may also have a Description property. If it has this property, and if the property is not empty, the first few characters are displayed here.
- Each Node has a collection of properties. (See above for a couple of these.) The Properties hyperlink launches the Properties for the Node.
