Minutes
- SDO waiting on the new JSR-235(package names) SDO 2.1.1 standards interfaces release before submitting the CQ
- We currently have the 2.1 version in the repository
- We will finish this CQ process offline as well as the TCK side
- Mitesh? list of features slated are ready to go for 1.1
- A) Extended Map support still at risk for 1.1
- New JPA 2.0 Cache API support (we have 2 now) broke some examples - fixed because of system wide imports
- DBWS) PL/SQL support, as well as James' development help
- SDO) working on TCK with 1,1 numbers
- Incubation - better term is incubator
- Incubator component constructed - parallel to trunk
- Dynamic Persistence incubator checked in
- SDO-JPA incubator started
- Goal is for quick solution to feed back to trunk
- New Database Platforms (3)
- Jar is attached to the bug
- How will we provide these platforms?
- Single incubator project?
- Do we incubate it at all?
- There is the issue of maintaining the incubator project (a slate of a developer's time)
- Any external dependencies that incubator projects bring in will require project spanning CQ's
- New Database Platforms (3)
- Bugs
- For 1.1 we have 15 P2 bugs with not enough resources
- A 3rd pass will be done
- OSGI
- After 1.1 javax.persistence will be distributed as 2.0
- In OSGI anything after the version number makes it appear as more recent
- Mitesh? when can Eric upload the new javax.persistence jar be uploaded to Maven?
- Edwin: we need build notifications for nightly/continuous builds to appear again?
- A) work is in progress around ant logger and reducing the size of these.
- Elliot: JPA 2.0 schedule status?
- We are aligning our soft/hard code freeze dates at SUN March 2/23
- Open concern if new TCK tests come in just before the freeze dates
